Moderation, takedown, and appeals

How VENDO reviews marketplace content and handles enforcement disputes.

Last updated: July 29, 2026

1. Review process

New and materially edited listings may remain pending until reviewed. VENDO uses structured rules, user reports, and trained staff. Automated signals may prioritize risk but do not independently grant identity verification.

2. Possible decisions

  • Approve, request changes, reject, hide, archive, or remove content.
  • Limit messaging or publishing, suspend an account, or permanently ban serious/repeated abuse.
  • Preserve records, remove trust signals, or refer credible illegal activity to competent authorities.

3. Notices and reasons

Where appropriate and legally permitted, VENDO notifies the affected user of the decision and a useful reason. Some details may be withheld to protect reporters, investigations, security controls, or legal obligations.

4. Appeals

Send an appeal to vendo88@proton.me from the account email, normally within 30 days. Include the decision, listing/report reference, explanation, and supporting evidence. A staff member with appropriate authority will review the record; they should not be the original decision-maker where practical.

5. Rights and safety requests

Rights holders and affected persons may request takedown with identification, the exact URL, the protected right or safety concern, supporting evidence, and a good-faith declaration. Emergency threats should be reported to the competent local emergency authority first, then to VENDO.
